League Racing

LeMans Karting has seasonal racing leagues for all ages. Our racing league formats include endurance races, heats competitions and sprint races. Increase your driving skills by competing with the best racers in the Bay Area. Check our event calendar for the next race.

Sunday Night Heats Competition

Every Sunday night At LeMans Karting, the Sunday Night Heats Competition offers exciting racing for 12 to 50 drivers that wish to compete as individuals and race for points in a series of heats. Points are awarded based on heat finishing positions, with the winner receiving maximum points. After all drivers have completed their heats, and Semi-Finals, there's a Final race for the top 10 drivers that have accumulated the most points.

The typical event* consists of:

  • 5 Minute practice session per driver
  • 3 heats per driver, each consisting of 8 laps
  • Semi-Final Races (15 laps each) to determine the grid for the Final
  • Top 10 drivers compete in a 20 lap final race

Practice
Each driver has 5 minutes practice session that ensures each driver has the chance to learn the track before competing in the race for points.

Heats
Each driver races in 3 heats each consisting of 8 laps. When the green flag drops the race begins. The first kart to complete 8 laps is the winner of the heat and is awarded maximum points, the next driver across the finish line is awarded the next highest points, and so on. Points are accumulated to determine the grid line up for the Semi-Final race.

Final
After all drivers have completed their heats, the 10 drivers that have accumulated the highest number of points compete in a 20 lap final race, the highest scoring driver takes pole position. The winner of the Heats Competition is determined by finishing position, not points. Medals are presented for first, second and third place.

Pre-Register today @ (510) 770-9001. Arrival Time is between 6PM - 6:30PM. Racing begins promptly at 7PM.
