Q: What is required to race?

A: A government-issued driver’s license is required for all drivers. Minors without a license are required to participate in our Junior/Cadet training package, depending on their age bracket. Guests 18 and over without a license are required to pass an assessment race, which are only available through reservations, if time permits (Call for more information: 510.770.9001).

Q: Are international driver licenses permitted?

A: Yes, just make sure to bring it during your visit.

Q: How tall do I have to be to ride the karts?

A: The minimum height requirement is 4′ ft for cadets and 4’8 ft for adults/juniors. The advised height maximum is 6’5 ft.

Q: Is there a weight maximum?

A: Yes, the weight maximum is 280 lbs. (38-40 inch men’s waist)

Q: Do I need to make reservation?

A: No, but reservations are highly recommended. Reservations are the only way we can guarantee your race time. Otherwise, walk-ins will be accommodated on a “first-come, first-serve” basis. Reservations can be made over the phone with one of our Customer Service Representatives at 510.770.9001.

Q: What is the MegaTrack?

A: The MegaTrack is California’s only indoor and outdoor track. We combine both our indoor portion and outdoor portion to make one huge track.

Q: When do you run the MegaTrack?

A: Tuesday – Thursday from 5PM-9PM

    Friday from 5PM-10PM

    Saturday from 12PM-10PM

    Sunday from 12PM-9PM

Q: How old do you have to be to race?

A: In order to walk in and race, you must be at least 18 years of age with a license. Minors with licenses must have a legal guardian with them at all times while on the premises. For minors without licenses, we have 2 driving programs for age groups 8-13 (Cadets) and 11-17 (Juniors)

Q: What are the Cadet and Junior programs?

A: They are programs designed to show your children how to safely operate and race the karts. The program also goes over the rules and flags in detail. For more information, take a look at the Cadet Program and Junior Driver’s Program pages. Reservations are required to participate: 510.770.9001.

Q: Are these karts gas or electric?

A: Our karts are gas-powered. We use E-85, which is eco-friendly!

Q: What comes with a membership?

A: A membership give you access to our competitive formats. Also, you get access to our birthday special, and discounted pricing on our Triple Play package.

Q: What is the birthday special?

A: The birthday special is buy one Time Trial, and you get either a Triple Play or a Combo for free. The Triple Play or the Combo must be used on the same day of purchase. Don’t forget to call to reserve your spot!
